Giro di Bali by Handcycle

A 4 day fun event to raise awareness of handcycling in Indonesia. With participants from around South East Asia and Australia, open to bicyclist as well, this will be fully escorted with support vehicles, staying overnight in hotels around Bali.

Daily schedule includes 3 hours morning, lunch and rest and then 3 hours afternoon. Total of 320 km.

What: Giro di Bali by Handcycle - Bali Sports Foundation have members and supporters who will be riding 350km around Bali over 4 days to raise awareness for handcycling disabled athletes and to raise funds to support disabled and disadvantaged people in Bali.

When: Friday April 29 to Monday May 2

Where: starting at BSF and riding up the East Coast past Candidasa to Tirtagangga then across the North coast to Singaraja, then around past Gilimanuk and the down the west coast of Bali, back to BSF, a total of 320km.

Why: To raise awareness for the sport of handcycling in particular and disabled athletes in Bali who struggle to obtain support, both physical and financial, that would enabled them to compete both locally, nationally and internationally in their chosen sports in general.

How: Members from Bali Sports Foundation and friends will ride, on average, 80 km per day over 4 days:

Day 1: April 28 - arrive Bali - overnight in hotel near BSF
Day 2: April 29 - BSF to Tulamben Lunch Tirtagangga
Day 3: April 30 Tulamben - Pemecutaran - Lunch-Hi 5 Rehab (Lovina)
Day 4: May 1 Pemecutaran - Soca - Lunch NPC - Negara
Day 5: May 2 Soca - BSF - Lunch Mahatmia/Tanah Lot- Presentation Dinner
Day 6: May 3 Depart
