Gliders crowned champions in Osaka
The Australian Gliders have been crowned champions at the Osaka Cup in Japan on Saturday.
The Aussies bounced back from a three-point loss, 50-47, to the host nation on Friday to trounce them 56-60 in the decider on Saturday.
The Gliders had beaten the USA comfortably but had also lost to Canada in the lead up to the championship game.
The result placed the Gliders one better than they did in 2008 when they finished second, falling to the USA in the final. |
