Australian Athletes with a Disability

The Australian Open is the Southern Hemisphere’s biggest and most lucrative bowls event.

A multi-discipline tournament, the Australian Open features singles, pairs and triples for both men and women, as well as a festival of bowls which incorporates specific age group and bowlers with a disability divisions.

In 2012 the bowlers with a disability section of the Australian Open will incorporate men's and women's singles for vision impaired bowlers, wheelchair bowlers, hearing impaired bowlers and bowlers with an intellectual disability.
